Nyimba Town Council has successfully conducted a one-day Financial Literacy training for the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) phase one Loan beneficiaries.
The financial literacy training is aimed at equipping the beneficiaries with knowledge on how best they can utilize the funds to uplift their businesses.
Speaking during the training, Nyimba Area Member of Parliament Hon. Menyani Zulu urged the CDF Loan beneficiaries to avoid defaulting the loan.
Hon. Zulu added that all defaulters will soon catch up with the law and they will have no one to blame but themselves.
Nyimba Town Council appealed to the beneficiaries to always engage the Local Authority whenever they intend to change the business proposal compared to what was earlier submitted.
The Local Authority will soon submit the second phase of the 2025 CDF Loan beneficiaries to the bank in order to ensure that this year’s loan allocation is completely utilized.
Nyimba Town Council is currently receiving applications for the 2026 CDF in all categories before the 31st August, 2025.
All returning students and secondary School Boarding learners are being reminded to re-apply for the 2026 CDF Bursary.
